How do open source companies make money?

We would like to announce our summer vacation as below:

Fedora has gained a reputation for being more experimental than most Linux releases,a standalone operating system of its own, and one that is of high quality.Technologies such as new filesystems, new virtualisation techniques and much more are regularly tested in Fedora before being polished up and incorporated into Red Hat.

On May 26th, 2010, Vietnam Open Day – with attendance of more than 60 people including HanoiLUG members and others who have interest in this event – was greatly successful.

For an open and friendly atmosphere to discuss about FOSS and applications as well as activities based on FOSS, iWay, eXo SEA and Asianux Vietnam with active members of HanoiLUG will collaborate to hold the first Open Day in Hanoi. Issues regarded as motivity for FOSS development in Vietnam business environment will be discussed in this event.

In the last days of 2009, in order to intensify contribution activities to FOSS community, iWay has published several products to support Vietnamese users access and use FOSS applications more easily.

On November 3rd, 4th,5th and 27th in Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Dong Thap and Dak Nong, the workshop on promoting in FOSS applications took place. This series was held by Institute of Information Technology for Business (ITB-VCCI) in cooperation with iWay and Asianux Vietnam which are  active company in free and open source software (FOSS).
